This is the Seair landing with the Northwing Mustang II 19 meter strutted wing. This wing can be folded up and left on the boat when it is being launched or removed from the water.

And here's what the boat looks like when it's launching with the wing folded up on top of the boat. This is actually a picture of the Seair being launched at the Kankakee River on a beautiful summer day.

Here's another shot of the Seair with the strutted wing, landing with a passenger.

It's the Seair Airboat! This is a great shot of the Seair as without the wing, running on the river as an 'air' boat. These work great in shallow waters.

images/Pictures/SmallImages/Scooting.jpg This shot shows the Seair flying away, but with the new 19 meter wing. Notice the lack of a kingpost - that is one of the features of the strutted wing. Our pilot looks very relaxed in this shot!

Here's a close where you can see the Seair's new instrument pod at the front of the boat. The bright yellow pod is much easier to read. The Seair also has a new gas tank gauge that is mounted directly on the tank for easier and more accurate readings.

A beautiful landing on the Kankakee River in Illinois.

If you look at the larger version of this image, you will see a picture of Ed pulling up his rudder by hand, and an alligator watching him. The alligator is kind of hard to see, but it's really there. This is from Sun 'N' Fun in Lakeland Florida, in 2000. This is the reason we designed the new retractable rudder!

Here's a fun shot of the Seair, tied up at the back of our 25' Maxxum Boat. It's a fun afternoon when we can take the big boat and the flying boat out.

This is what happens when you fly at a busy lake on a busy day. The boat was really far away, but the perspective makes it look closer than it really was. Everyone wants to come and see the Flying Boat!

This is a great shot of Ed landing with a passenger. This was a dead-stick landing (with the engine turned off). You can see the propeller blade not moving as they land engine off! This was a very windy day, and it was perfect for a nice 'touch-then-start-the-engine-and-go' flight.

Here's the Seair with the 17.5 meter (no struts) wing. This wing is is not standard, but can be available upon customer request.

Early morning flights are best since the winds are the calmest. Although the Seair will do great in breezes, it's the most fun for the passengers if the winds are calm, so most of our student lessons are early morning flights.

This is flying at Lake Sammamish, Washington (just east of Seattle). This is a beautiful lake to fly, with a lot of mansions surrounding the lake, and Mt. Rainier in the distance at the end of the lake. This was a perfect flying day! Hot, sunny, and breezy!

Flying with a student. This lesson was actually a gift for Father's day from a friend of ours to his dad. His dad barely stopped smiling the whole trip!

The Seair Flying Boat was featured twice on NBC's 'The Today Show'. Here is a picture of Corey Greenburg (the gadget guy) explaining to Matt Lauer about why the Seair Flying Boat is the COOLEST Father's Day present!

Okay, we had to include this for historical reference. Our first 'promotional' effort from several years ago was getting the Seair featured in an episode of Baywatch! You can still catch this episodes in reruns occasionally.
